A play of the 1987 Powell Peralta advertising slogan “Skateboarding is not a crime” - we created this design to empower breastfeeding parents. Just as the old skateboarding slogan was advocating for the right of anyone to enjoy skateboarding, we’re advocating for the right of anyone to proudly and confidently breastfeed in public.

Research has shown that Breastfeeding reduces the risk of breast cancer by 4.3% for every 12 months of breastfeeding, which is in addition to the 7.0% decrease in risk observed for each birth. Also, Breastfeeding has been shown to primarily reduce the risk of Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer (20%) as well as in carriers of BRCA1 mutations (22–50%).

We know that breastfeeding doesn’t work out for everyone despite best efforts AND not everyone wants to breastfeed, but for those who do - we are here to support you physically, mentally, emotionally and otherwise.
